Metal Makers collaborated closely with Amron Architectural who were working on the entire entrance cladding for the Skipper Building in Clerkenwell Road, London. The project involved MetalMakers to fabricate the intricate bespoke 2-layer cladding system, as well as the external ceiling soffits, closure angles and bracketry, external canopy, planters and the internal metal trims and metal linings for the lifts.

Metal Makers played a crucial role in translating these design specification into the final fabricated components. Special Features

The external cladding system boasted a special 2-layer water jet cut panel, adding a distinctive and visually striking element to the building’s complete refurbishment. The bespoke design required meticulous attention to detail during the fabrication process to ensure precision and alignment.

Materials & Finishes

To meet the client’s aesthetic and performance requirements, Metal Makers recommended the use of aluminium for all the cladding and visible components and galvanised steel for all the bracketry. Aluminium not only offers durability but it provided a versatile base for the specified Interpon powder coating finish. The choice of materials and finishes aimed to enhance the longevity of the cladding system, while achieving the desired visual impact.
